You can also join at the AU on the 3rd floor of the students union.

See you all at training!

Dates for the Calendar

This is a very quick post to let people know about the sports fayres at Cardiff University in September. The fayres are aimed at freshers who are starting their degrees in October. It's a great opportunity to find new members for the club - if you are free on any of the following days please let me or Jen know:

• Healthcare Fayre - 21/09/09 - (Monday) - Sports and Social Club at the Heath Park Campus
• AU Fayre - 25/09/09 - (Friday) - Great Hall Students Union

If you've got any ideas for introducing new members to Jiu Jitsu; now is the time to share them! To all our existing students remember we are training on Monday and Wednesday until 23rd September and back to three sessions a week from the 28th.

Club Stuff

Just a few things to be aware of:

• We have a number of gis (training suits) available for members - £25
• We have some Aiuchi Membership filofaxes for recording events and gradings - £12 or £20
• We have 1 large red hoodie (07-08) - £20

• The club grading on 12th November - £5

• Don't forget the nationals 15th-16th November (£40) - there are only a limited number of spaces left! First come, first serve!

Membership - again

I know that quite a few people have been struggling to get their membership sorted via the Cardiff students web page (Link) but I've just received an email saying that those problems should be sorted now. Its really important that all our students sign up for club membership and we will have to crack down on those that haven't :( - So go and sign up using the link above, just keep trying if you have difficulties. See you at jitsu (or our next social) soon
